Team Trip FAQs
Why does Pilotage offer an Team Trips?
One of Pilotage's main messages is integral stewardship. This is an opportunity for business people to become good stewards of all their God given resources - time, talents and treasures. It is designed to create a multi-cultural learning experience for both the people who are served in the 3rd world developing country and the team.
Who should apply?
A person with a heart for international missions, business background and a concern for those living in challenging economic situations. Each team needs a leader and the recommendation from their church. Team members must be willing to be culturally sensitive and become cultural learners.
What specific skills do I need?
Each team has a specific service mission that is determined prior to the trip. There is pre-work and an initial skill building phase on location to help the members adjust to the culture, grow spiritually and prepare for the specific service needs.
What is a team?
The type of service requires adult team members. The teams are very focused and usually small. The team size is generally 4-6 people, including the leader.
How long are the trips?
Team trips generally last one week.
